Just overnight, we received word from Blizzard about more Wild Remix adjustments. The Gulp Frog Farm has been completely nerfed. This farm is no longer the best and has been fixed so it doesn’t drop an excessive amount of resources like before.
Punishments and Easier Bronze Farming
Blizzard also punished those who participated in the Frog Farm. They made bronze farming much easier as well. You can now get 40,000 bronze for free on every character simply by logging into the game.
Changes in Leveling Alts
There are huge changes in how leveling alts work, and I will go over all this shortly. First, I’ll quickly cover the blue post we received from Blizzard yesterday regarding the new adjustments and improvements to bronze and the Frog Farm.
Impact on Gameplay Experience
A small number of players received an extreme advantage, which messed up the gameplay experience for others in the remix event. Anyone who was part of the Frog Farm had their cloaks’ power reduced to a level that an engaged player could reasonably achieve. This change will significantly impact players who exploited the situation for a long time.
New Bronze Quests
For anyone who did not take advantage of the Frog farming, you will be given three quests with large bronze rewards. The first quest starts at level 50, then at 60 and 70. These quests will be available from Momentus, the item upgrader at the Jade Forest Infinite Bazaar.
Rewards and Eligibility
These milestone quests grant characters an additional 3,000, 7,000, and 30,000 bronze, respectively. Level 70 time runners will be able to complete all three quests immediately for 40,000 additional bronze. Characters that killed an unreasonably large number of gold frogs will not be eligible for these quests.
Simple Completion Requirements
These quests require you to do nothing but log in, talk to the quest giver, and hit the complete quest button. It’s a free 40K bronze for all level 70 time runners. If you have more than one time runner at level 70, you can complete this quest on all your alts as well, earning 40K free bronze on each character.
Blizzard’s Rewards and Punishments
I think Blizzard is trying to reward the people who didn’t take advantage of the Frog farm, and they definitely punished those who did. Blizzard made a big change to bronze farming. All three daily quests now have a larger reward. You now get a greater bronze cache and the legendary thread for completing each daily quest that you can find in any Infinite Bazaar.
Daily Quest Rewards
Each bronze cache contains 1,250 bronze, so that’s an easy 3,500 bronze per day just for completing your dailies. To make this even better, the dungeon finder random queue normal and heroic scenarios also reward you with greater bronze caches. That’s a total of seven greater bronze caches you can get per day, which is just under 9K bronze.
Legendary Threads and Character Building
Each one of these quests also rewards you with a legendary thread for your cloak, which is very helpful for building up your character. We have some nice changes for how alts will be leveling up as well. Leveling alts is definitely more valuable now that we have the 40K bronze reward available and that they have awesome bronze rewards for simply completing daily quests.
Alt Leveling Enhancements
If you’re looking to farm some extra bronze, it’s definitely worth leveling another tune to take advantage of that free 40K bronze and the daily rewards. They made it even easier for alts to level up. The achievements associated with the necklace, rings, and trinkets are now account-wide, so if you completed the achievements on one character, they will become unlocked on all your characters.
Starting with More Gear
Your alt can now start off with a lot more gear and sockets, making leveling much easier. You will have nine extra Prismatic sockets available, making your alt more powerful to blast through quests. These items only cost 10 bronze to buy at any Infinite Bazaar. If you don’t have these achievements, I recommend getting them done since this is a huge boost to leveling your alts.
New Leveling Methods
There are also many new ways to level your characters to 70. If you’re a tank or healer, I recommend spamming dungeons or raids. As a DPS, you could do the same but make sure you’re blasting quests in between queues since queue timers will be longer. Once you’re eligible to run normal raids, you will get the most experience from them.
