LOUIS COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencySt. Louis County, MO (April 6, 2024): On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspects Deondre Robinson, 18, of the 2800 block of Innsbruck Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63129 and Patrick Aten, 18, of the 100 block of Holden Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63125, each with Involuntary Manslaughter First Degree, and Assault Second Degree. Robinson was additionally charged with Operate Vehicle on Highway Without A Valid License – Class D Misdemeanor. Booking photos of Robinson and Aten are attached. Both are being held on $150,000 cash only, no 10%, bond. Please note, charges are merely an accusation and Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law. The probable cause statement for both Robinson and Aten read: Defendants were racing each other and traveling at very high speeds down S. Broadway in St. Louis County. Defendant Robinson lost control of his vehicle and spun. Defendant Robinson's vehicle struck Christopher Johnson and Victim 2. Christopher Johnson was drug under Defendant Robinson's vehicle and was pronounced deceased upon police's arrival. Victim 2 suffered serious injuries including head lacerations and was conveyed to the hospital. Defendant Robinson did not have a valid driver's license. The deceased has been identified as Christopher Johnson, 34, of the 200 block of Pin Oaks Dr., Dittmer, Missouri. St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading this investigation.6Like3

LOUIS COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencySt. Louis County, MO (April 5, 2024): St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives and the Accident Reconstruction Unit are investigating a person fatally struck in the 9900 block of S. Broadway that resulted in the death of an adult male. At 10:37 a.m., St. Louis County police officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call for service for a crash with injuries in the 9900 block of S. Broadway. Officers observed a motor vehicle crash involving a person struck. Preliminary investigation has revealed a Cadillac was northbound on S. Broadway when the driver lost control and left the roadway, striking two construction workers who were working on the front of a building. The first construction worker, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second construction worker, an adult male, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Cadillac was also transported for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be disseminated as it becomes available. Assault/DOP, 24-11401, 750 Gravois Bluffs Blvd, Jimmy John’s. During an argument the suspect assaulted the victim and damaged her phone. Summonses were issued.
