Last month, two of our Amalie experts spoke about Incoterms at the ATCC conference in Houston, TX.In case you missed that discussion, we wanted to cover this topic on our Tuesday Trade Thought. Incoterms are a set of 11 globally recognized sales terms created in 1936 by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to facilitate the conduct of international trade. They are periodically updated, and the latest version is from January 1, 2020. Incoterms take the form of 3-letter acronyms and are as follows: EXW, FCA, FAS, FOB, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP, DPU, and DDP.
