JUNIOR (2021)
Emerged as one of the best defensive catchers in the country, leading the conference with 13 runners caught stealing on the year ... Opened the season collecting at least one hit in five of her first six outings, having scored a career-high three runs in the season-opener against Lamar (Feb. 12) ... Served as the team’s catcher, having started in all 50 games at the position ... Blasted a pair of home runs in the win over Abilene Christian (Feb. 28), setting a career-high for total bases (8) in a single game ... Tallied a season-high 10 putouts in the win over ECU (April 16) ... Put together a five-game hitting streak (April 11-April 18), having batted .357 during that stretch. ... Recorded a breakout season, where she led Houston with nine home runs on the season, a mark that not only led the conference but ranked 15th in the nation ... Earned the first conference accolade of her career when she was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week (3/2), after batting .583 with three home runs and nine RBIs, while slugging 1.333 ... Posted a slugging percentage of .852 that led The American and ranked 28th in the nation ... One of six players on the team to have started in all 23 games for the Cougars, serving as the team’s everyday catcher ... Put together a stretch where she launched four home runs in a six-game span ... Tied for the team lead with seven multiple-hit games on the year ... Twice drove in a career-high four runs ... Helped lead Houston to its first 11-game winning streak since 2011, having led the team in batting average (.423), home runs (6), slugging percentage (1.115) and touched bases (29).
FRESHMAN (2019)
Helped lead Houston to a run in the NCAA Tournament, making an appearance in the championship game of the Austin Regional ... Made 17 appearances in her rookie campaign ... Led her team to three TAPPS state championships from 2016-18 ... Earned four letters at Fort Bend Christian Academy, having received First-Team All-District honors all four years ... PERSONAL
A third-generation University of Houston athlete, who’s had five members of her family compete for the Cougars ... Her sister, Kendall, played softball for the Cougars in 2015, her uncle and grandfather were members of the football team and her mother, Cindy Lee, was a Houston cheerleader ... Her father, Bill Ray, competed on Houston’s golf team from 1982-85, where he helped lead the Cougars to two national championships and earned Houston Athletics Hall of Fame honors in 2004 ... Served two mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica ... Majoring in retail and consumer science.
